Awww snap...look who's finally going to start working! Well, I'll only be a part time working woman since I have class three days out of the week but no matter. Perks: I'll be in the city (34th St. to be exact) and pay is pretty good. I'm excited!
Ugh, I really have to stop all this eating I've been doing lately. Just before I had a craving for pasta and along with it an urge to cook so I decided to make a Caesar salad and a whole big pot of pasta with mushrooms and ground turkey. Now I normally do not go near a stove so you can imagine how surprised I was at how well it turned out. I know, how hard is it to boil some pasta and prepare some sauce?? Pretty difficult for a person whose culinary skills consists of making rice and boiling water...haha. However, I do make a mean cup of noodles. =P So I had like three servings or something and now here I am sitting at my computer with bite-size Tostitos with salsa con queso to my left and swedish fish to my right. I definitely have the potential to be a real heffer in the future once my metabolism dramatically decreases. What happened to my diet? I thought I supposed to lose 10 pounds? Oh well. I have yet to weigh myself but I know for a fact that I've put on some weight, regardless to what others are saying, since I pretty much succumb to each and every craving. Good thing is, the person who should care doesn't (in fact, he encourages me to eat more) so it's allll good. =D

Let's see, I don't know what to write about in my first entry other than it took me a ridiculously long time to fully understand the intricacies of LiveJournal. After I had signed up for my account (free! thanks to the code Lirio supplied) =D I was like, "Err...ok...now what..." But now that I have an understanding of it (and realize that in actuality there was nothing really too difficult about it), I'm contemplating whether or not I should switch over from Xanga. I like LJ because now I have the option to have my entries viewable only by friends whereas everything posted on Xanga is made public for all to see. Bad, because I don't exactly want to divulge private details of my life to absolute strangers.
The only downside is that I have virtually no friends on Livejournal! (with the exception of  babyli, of course.) Hmmm...could this be time for me to start all over with a new journal? We shall see...
